  • Storytelling and creating space.

My lived experiences as a first-gen, low-income, queer and trans/genderfluid Latinx scholar motivate me through mentorship, visibility, and education to make genomics and STEM accessible for those who have been historically-excluded and marginalized.

Through spaces I cultivate, I aim to lead tangible actions to uplift trainees and their aspirations within and beyond science.

I am also currently writing a graphic novel and curriculum on the history of racism in medicine and genomics.

    What am I up to?
