I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Beliveau and Noble Labs at the University of Washington, Department of Genome Sciences.

My lived experiences as a trans person of color motivate me through mentorship, visibility, and education to make STEM and genomics more accessible and inclusive for those who have been historically-excluded.

In addition to doing cool science, I also develop curricula to make STEM more inclusive, write about my experiences in STEM, and make art!
